We stayed at a "bed and breakfast" in Palermo Soho, a great neighborhood. There were many restaurants and cafes, and it was walking distance to many Western shopping outlets. There was also an active and laid-back nightlife scene as well, so it was a fun area for young tourists.

The buses had a retro look to them but were still modern in design and coloring. Unfortunately, we didn't get to step foot inside one as we only took taxis and the Subte to get from neighborhood to neighborhood.
This horse drawn carriage actually circled the block a few times.
